Five Little Easter Eggs – Inspirational Easter poems

Five little Easter eggs, lovely colors wore;
(hold up five fingers)
Mother ate the blue one, then there were four.
(bend down one finger)

Four little Easter eggs, two and two, you see;
Daddy ate the red one, then there were three.
(bend down next finger)

Three little Easter eggs, before I knew,
Sister ate the yellow one, then there were two.
(bend down next finger)

Two little Easter eggs; oh, what fun,
Brother ate the purple one, then there was one.
(bend down next finger)

One little Easter egg; see me run!
I ate the very last one, and then there were none.
(bend down last finger)

Hop and Stop

The first little rabbit went hop, hop, hop.
I said to the first rabbit, “Stop, stop, stop!”
The second little rabbit went run, run, run.
I said to the second rabbit, “Fun, fun, fun!”
The third little rabbit went thump, thump, thump.
I said to the third rabbit, “Jump, jump, jump!”
The fourth little rabbit went sniff, sniff, snuff.
I said to the fourth rabbit, “That is enough!”
The fifth little rabbit went creep, creep, creep.
I said to the fifth rabbit, “It’s time to sleep!”

Bunny, white bunny
With ears so tall
(Place pointer fingers beside head)

And your two pink eyes
And your mouth so small.
(Make 0 with mouth)

Wiggle goes one ear.
(Wiggle one finger)
Wiggle goes the other.
(Wiggle other finger)

Hop, hop, hop, hop
Home to your mother!
(Hop away in four hops)I Had an Easter Bunny

I had an Easter bunny,
One day she ran away.
I looked for her by moonlight,
I looked for her by day.
I found her in the meadow
With her babies 1, 2, 3.
So now I have four rabbit pets
To run and jump with me.

Easter Bunny Hugs And Kisses

Religious Easter poems for toddlers at church

That cute little bunny has hopped all day,
delivering baskets for the holiday.
His paws are so tired and his nose how it itches,
He left you something special to fulfill all your wishes-
Lots of cute little Easter bunny hugs and kisses.

Easter comes but once a year

Easter poems for children’s church

Easter comes but once a year
But when it does, we all know its here
Children filling themselves with chocolate
Dad’s down the pub for a pint of beer!

We go to the church for the wine and bread
Dad’s half asleep, and jerking his head
Baby sister is here too, munching away
On the free Easter egg that the Priest gave us today

But remember we must, that the Lord died for us
And ascended into heaven to give us fresh lives
For each and every one of us.

Easter Bunny Poems for Kids

(by Mary Brandolino)

In memory of all the bunnies we couldn’t save.

I remember Easter Sunday
It was colorful and fun
The new life that I’d begun
In my new cage.
I was just a little thing
When they brought me from the store
And they put me on the floor
In my cage.
They would take me out to play
Love and pet me all the time
Then at day’s end I would climb
In my cage.
But as days and weeks went by
I saw less of them it seemed
Of their loving touch I dreamed
In my cage.
In the night outside their house
I felt sad and so neglected
Often scared and unprotected
In my cage.
In the dry or rainy weather
Sometimes hotter sometimes colder
I just sat there growing older
In my cage.
The cat and dog raced by me
Playing with each other only
While I sat there feeling lonely
In my cage.
Upon the fresh green grass
Children skipped and laughed all day
I could only watch them play
From my cage.
They used to take me out
And let me scamper in the sun
I no longer get to run
In my cage.
Once a cute and cuddly bunny
Like a little ball of cotton
Now I’m grown up and forgotten
In my cage.
I don’t know what went wrong
At the home I did inhabit
I just grew to be a rabbit
In my cage.
But they’ve brought me to the pound
I was once loved and enjoyed
Now I wait to be destroyed
In my cage. – Easter poem 2021 for children

Easter Poems for Teenagers

Let every heart be filled with joy,
A joy of thankfulness to our Savior and King!
He is victorious over sin and death.
He conquered death to give us a new life.A life blossoms through His unending love.
It is for a cause and without condition
The love that brings healing and reconciliation,
A pure love that creates in us real peace.

Peace that springs from his sacred heart,
A heart that bleeds for our affliction.
It is full of mercy and compassion,
A heart wounded for our sins and vainglory.

Rejoice! Jesus is truly risen from the dead
For us to live once again,
To live without blemish of pride,
And live a life unselfishly for others in need
