SKIDOS, a platform of learning games for kids, has introduced new features with a recent product update. From now on, SKIDOS apps also provide a catalog of educational videos for 2-11-year-olds and new learning activities for preschoolers – tracing letters and numbers. SKIDOS users have unlimited access to 45+ mobile games for kids with integrated learning tasks. This approach ensures the “learning through play” concept where kids engage in a fun game-play, as well as have quality screen time and improve their academic skills.   

The video content includes captivating musical rhymes and focuses on introducing concepts like numbers, letters, and basic science experiments in the simplest of ways. Videos adapt based on the age of a child, and are updated regularly, so kids learn something new all the time. The content  is carefully selected by educational experts to teach at least one or more 21st century skills, such as leadership, communication & collaboration, tech & media literacy, etc.

In addition, SKIDOS has introduced a fun activity of tracing letters & numbers for preschool kids. High quality animation and engaging audio help preschoolers in familiarizing with their first letter and numbers. These features are available in multiple languages to cater to SKIDOS’ global audience.

The roll-out of these new features, whose impact and effectiveness was proven in in-house demonstrations and trials, is part of SKIDOS commitment to transform learning into an entertaining experience for kids around the world. It has not only seen a visible increase in engagement and outreach of the games but also in the time spent by users on the apps.

Prakash added, “We received valuable feedback from different parents and their kids, and it has helped us to get a better insight about the kids’ learning process. For example, we discovered that an on-demand learning feature that was not in our games before became very popular – it has led to an increase in repeat users for over 70%.”

The new on-demand learning feature introduced by SKIDOS allows kids to learn and attempt exercises directly without playing games. The company is focused on continually adding value to both parents and kids through such need-based features in its online learning games.
